How do I transfer content from the personal space to the school space?

If you already had a personal account on Intuitivo before your school joined the platform, it’s natural that you’d want to transfer the content you’ve already created, such as exercises, assessments, rubrics, and more, to your institution’s space.

Which of the following applies to you?

• Did your school grant you access using the same email address you already used for your personal account?

  You don’t need to follow the steps in this article. Just log in with that email address, go to your account settings, and enable the personal space. You’ll automatically have access to the personal space you were already using, with all the content you had there. See How do I switch between my personal space and School Space? Then, if you want to move any specific content to the school space, you don’t need shared groups: just access that content and send it directly to a group in the school space.

• Do you have a personal account with one email address, and were you added to the school with a different email address?
  In that case, these are two separate accounts, and you’ll need to transfer the content via a shared group. The steps below explain how to do this.

To avoid having to switch back and forth between accounts multiple times, we’ve organized the steps by account: first, everything you need to do in your personal account, then everything you need to do in your school account.

1. In your personal account (where the content you want to transfer is located)

   1. Go to Groups in the side menu.

   2. Click “Create Group.”

   3. Give the group a name (for example, "Migration to [school name]").

   4. Add your school account's email address as a group member.

1. Create an associated personal space - in your school account settings, create a personal space linked to that institutional email address.

2. Access the group from that personal space - switch to the personal space you just created, and access the group. There you’ll find the content you shared from your personal account.

3. Send the content to a group in the school space - from that group, send the content to an existing group (or create a new one) within the school space. This is the step that makes the content a permanent part of the institution’s space.

Note: The content always remains available in the original group in your personal account—this process copies the content to the school space; it does not remove it from your personal account.
