How to use Qualitative Grades in assessments?

Present student results qualitatively — in immediate feedback, corrections and PDF export.

Not every assessment fits into a number. Intuitivo now allows you to present results in a qualitative format, offering richer and more meaningful feedback for students.

Where Qualitative Grades appear

Qualitative grades can be shown at three points:

  • Immediate feedback — the student sees their qualitative grade as soon as they finish the test;
  • Publishing corrections — when the teacher publishes results, students receive their qualitative grade;
  • PDF export — the exported report includes the qualitative grade.

How to enable Qualitative Grades

  1. When creating or editing an assessment, go to the grading settings.
  2. Select the grading type "Qualitative".
  3. Set up the qualitative scales according to your assessment criteria (e.g. Insufficient, Sufficient, Good, Very Good, Excellent).
  4. Publish the assessment as normal.
